The Challenges
MAUTION, a DJ and producer hailing from the vibrant city of Dubai, had the talent and ambition but sought to refine his sound further and make a mark on the global stage. He aimed to sign with a big label; Perfect Havoc, and needed to elevate his productions to meet their high standards.
The Solutions & Process
The journey with MAUTION has been one of mutual growth and strategic partnership:
- Initial Collaboration: Two years ago, MAUTION approached me to inject that extra spark into his music — the “X Factor”. I was all in, as I was familiar and experienced with his sound.
- Ongoing Projects: Our collaboration spanned production, mixing, mastering, and even vocal production, coupled with strategy discussions on copyright and career progression.
- Technical Refinement: As MAUTION’s skills flourished, my role evolved to focus more on the final stages of his projects, including the technical aspects that give a track its professional sheen.
- Empowering Independence: Over time, MAUTION grew more self-sufficient, allowing him to take on more responsibilities while still benefiting from my expertise to propel his career forward.
The Results
Our collective efforts led to the release of “Lose Control” on my label, setting the stage for greater achievements. Fast forward to last Friday, and MAUTION’s track “Hold Tight” was released on Perfect Havoc, marking a significant milestone in his career. With Visiom Management now in his corner and a string of label releases under his belt, MAUTION is well on his way to a promising future in the industry.
